Event: Contracting Workshop – September 29th

The Federal Government is still the #1 Purchaser of Goods & Services.  The Enterprise Center at Southern State College in Winchester is conducting a workshop to answer questions about the government contracting process.

Do you have questions about opportunities for small business in government contracting?  The Southern Ohio Procurement Outreach Center presents 2010 PTAC Fair. Meet one-on-one with a small business counselor to get answers to those questions and discuss various aspects of the government contracting process.  This event is open to current SOPOC clients as well as all small businesses considering federal, state, and local government contracting.

Hands-on discussion and training in areas like:

  • What registrations do you need
  • How to complete Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
  • Where to look for solicitations and subcontracting opportunities
  • How to submit bids
  • Details of using our free Bid-Match service
  • What are these distinctions and programs: DBE, MBE, 8a, HUBZone, ORCA, EDGE, SBA profile etc.?
