Seepex CEO Mike Dillon to speak

Mike Dillon, CEO of Seepex, Inc. will be the featured speaker at the next Miami Valley International Trade Association (MVITA)’s Executive Luncheon. Under the experienced leadership of Mike Dillon, who joined Seepex, Inc. in 1989 after many years with a progressive cavity pump competitor, the Seepex Pump Division of Peacock, Inc. relocated to Dayton OH. His presentation at the luncheon will be an overview of Seepex’s international strategies, expansions and lessons learned.

The Miami Valley International Trade Association (MVITA) is a volunteer organization that focuses on promoting international trade, both exporting and importing, in the Miami Valley. It supports regional Miami Valley businesses in their pursuits to buy and sell products and services internationally. MVITA conducts internationally oriented and informative programs throughout the year to educate the business community in the processes of selling in and working with foreign companies and in foreign countries. Much of the support is derived from its membership and a broad spectrum of experts in various international areas such as accounting, banking, freight forwarding, law, marketing, sales and regulations.

As a committee of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to deliver educational and networking opportunities that will help manufacturers to reduce costs, improve results and better understand issues that affect their operations, while helping participating companies contribute to the economic growth of our region.  We did a post about the council some months back.

About the East Asian Institute of Wittenburg University

The East Asian Institute for International Studies at Wittenberg University manages an internship program and organizes programs and events focusing on international business and East Asia. Wittenberg President Mark Erickson wrote this summer,“We are also investing in our East Asian Studies program as we look to create the first-ever East Asian Institute on campus, which will expand global understanding by way of international partnerships in business, government and education.
